Professional Contemporary Dance Certification Program (PCDCP) Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By applying to and participating in the Professional Contemporary Dance Certification Program (PCDCP), you ("Student") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Agreement"). If you do not agree, you may not participate in the program.
2. Eligibility
PCDCP applications are open to individuals who meet the program’s admission requirements. Applicants must submit truthful and complete information. The program reserves the right to deny admission or remove a student at any time if false information was provided.
PCDCP accepts a limited number of students each year. Acceptance into the program is highly competitive, and admission to a specific program (fall/winter) does not guarantee acceptance into future ones. Each application cycle is considered independently.
3. Payment and Refund Policy
Tuition fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the program.
All payments are non-refundable. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Refunds will only be considered in extraordinary circumstances, solely at the discretion of PCDCP administration. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in dismissal from the program.
4. Code of Conduct
PCDCP is dedicated to cultivating a global dance network that fosters exploration, innovation, and progress, empowering artists to thrive. We aim to advance the frontiers of contemporary dance research, and amplify diverse voices with empathy, responsibility, and a profound vision for the future.
Students are expected to:
Behave professionally, respectfully, and responsibly toward instructors, staff, and fellow students.
Adhere to all regulations and policies set forth by the program.
Avoid any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct.
Maintain the integrity of the program and not engage in actions that may harm PCDCP’s reputation.
The following actions are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate dismissal from the program without refund:
Violating the Code of Conduct or disregarding program regulations.
Inviting non-students to class without prior approval.
Misusing the studio, including improper use of equipment.
Damaging or disrespecting other people’s property.
Engaging in rude, aggressive, or harmful behavior toward others.
Failing to adhere to the intellectual property rules outlined below.
Harassing, bullying, or intimidating others.
Stealing or engaging in any illegal activity.
5. Health and Liability Waiver
Students must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that could affect their participation.
Students certify that they are physically fit and capable of taking part in five weeks of an intense dance program.
PCDCP is not responsible for injuries sustained during training, rehearsals, or performances. Students participate at their own risk.
Students must have personal medical insurance coverage.
6. Use of Likeness and Intellectual Property
By participating in PCDCP, students grant permission for their image, likeness, and performances to be recorded and used for promotional and educational purposes.
Students are permitted to take photos and videos for personal use. However, any content intended for public sharing, including on social media, must receive prior approval from PCDCP management.
Full classes and repertoire may not be posted publicly under any circumstances.
All choreography, training materials, and coursework provided by PCDCP remain the intellectual property of PCDCP and may not be reproduced or distributed without written consent.
7. Dismissal and Termination
PCDCP reserves the right to dismiss any student for violations of this Agreement, including but not limited to misconduct, non-payment, or failure to meet program requirements.
No refunds will be issued upon dismissal.
8. Amendments and Updates
PCDCP reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of any changes.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes must be resolved through mediation or arbitration before legal proceedings.
